Girl Crush alert!! I first laid my eyes on Kari at the WYLDLIFE/Wax Darts/Vomitface show at Lucky’s a few weeks back.. She was rocking out while frontman and boyfriend Dave Feldman (stylish peep) of WYLDLIFE was bringing the house down… I couldn’t stop staring at her! she is just gorgeous , animated, stylish , amazing smile….. I can go on. I was totally smitten by her! It was almost confusing! haha jokes aside, I knew she had to be my next stylish peep, and my first rocker chick. I added her on Facebook like the creeper that I am, and she has the funniest status updates that I just had to share some of them with you. I don’t know how she makes this shit up…

What are you wearing? I know the dress and necklace are from H&M … the rest is kind of hard because a lot of what I have is hand me downs from everyone. This was my best friends Levi’s vest…. we don’t talk anymore so now it’s my favorite Levi’s vest… the boots are Docs. The tights could be from anywhere…. yeah I don’t put that much thought into where things come from… I just see what I like and I grab it.

What do you do to pay the bills? I work at this place called Breathe Easy, it’s a holistic wellness place …. I did go to school for journalism and I did that for a while but this is to fund the dream. It’s a great place thought, people can always visit me there from 9-5pm… on the weekdays to see the cool little cave I work in.

How long have you been living in Jersey City? Like 3.5 years now….

What are your favorite hangout spots? If I am not in the apartment on the couch, I am at Lucky’s or Barcade or Another Man’s Treasure when I have money…. or even when I don’t… or McDonalds.

That’s a new one! and what music are you listening to? I don’t know anything that’s on the radio…. I do like alot of older stuff, the Rolling Stones, CCR…. WYLDLIFE obviously….. I don’t just support them cause I have to, they are awesome.

They are really awesome! Yeah, and all the bands I found by going to the shows …. they are all awesome. They have a great tight nit scene of really amazing people who make great music… there are other Jersey City bands that I love to go see when they are playing at the Lamp Post or something like Awkward Girls, Larry’s band the Wax Darts…. that is the best thing about Jersey City is you don’t have to leave in order to see all these cool bands. I also like Those Darlins, The Sugar Stems, Games, Bad Sports…. King Tuff, Shannon and the clams…okay I will stop there haha

I must say you have the best Facebook status updates…. I am a big fan, you should put a book together with all your status updates…. When I went to school for journalism, my dad insisted that the only way that was going to happen is if I would eventually write a book and he is going to be really bummed if that’s it ….. but that will probably be the book…
