I never thought in a million years that I would become a dog owner. I never really grew up with pets, but always dreamed of adopting a puppy one day. A year ago, I decided it would be nice to adopt a puppy for my mini-me and to add some love and cuddles to our lives. Long story short, Harvey, a half chihuahua mix, came into our lives. Harvey was saved during Hurricane Harvey (hence her name) and we were lucky enough to adopt her from the Liberty Humane Society.

Our lives were changed forever. Harvey has brought so much joy and love to our family! But as you dog owners know, having a dog is like another kid (to an extent). The daily walks get challenging sometimes and, even though I’m lucky enough to have a flexible schedule, there are some days I’m just not able to take her out. Last week, I had a really hectic day and I knew I wouldn’t be able to take Harvey out for her afternoon relief session. So I went on to PETnI and scheduled her walk. It was so easy to do!

PETnI (pronounced “pet and I”) is an online service available in New York City and northern New Jersey that offers pet sitting and dog walking. I logged in, created an account and entered information about my dog, and picked a time and day for my service. It’s super easy and hassle free. PETnI essentially connects you with local service providers! PetnI takes a hands-on approach to all pet care.

They actually have a partnership with Liberty Humane Society and there’s a portion of their site dedicated to the shelter, promoting awareness and encourage adoption as well as various other programs!

At 3pm, her dog walker showed up to take her. Harvey was so excited! After the walk, I got a notification that she was dropped off and Harvey loved it. PetnI uses GPS tracking technology for all dog walks as an extra precaution so you know your pups are safe. Definitely would use PETnI again!
