Montreal Stylish Peeps

As some of you may know now after my “Big Hair Girls go Corporate Post” that I moved to the New York area from Montreal, Canada. I was pretty much born and raised there with a 6 year stint in Tel Aviv. Last weekend I hopped in a car with my girl Kyra for a day trip to attend one of my best friends wedding. We left at around 5am and drove straight to Montreal to meet my girlfriends for brunch. Since they are all so stylish Kyra interviewed them for a “Stylish Peep” the Montreal edition and also asked them to tell her an embarrassing story about yours truly….

Ok – so tell me a story about Lynn? We met in grade 9, and she showed up her first day of class with a Clueless haircut, she thought she was Alicia Silverstone, she wore little baby doll clips, she was very very girly actually. AND Blue contact lenses!!!!

What are you wearing? I’m wearing Zara Jeans, Zara Top, Mackage Jacket, and Converse. Sunglasses are Michael Kors.

Ok – so tell me a story about Lynn? We went out to this cheesy nightclub called “the Dome” and we picked up 3 guys and brought them back to her parents house (they were out-of-town). We drank and chilled with them and then they started singing the Backstreet Boys… and that was it! from that moment on we did everything we could to get them to leave!

What are you wearing? I am wearing Ero Jeans from New York, Buckwheat shoes, an expensive T-shirt that has tons of holes in it, and don’t know where my jacket is from.

Ok – so tell me a story about Lynn? So we actually we’re roommates at one point and we were big into Pillsbury Cookie Dough for munchies. Every night we would bake some kind of Pillsbury thing, so one night Lynn was sleeping and I had a friend over and we had crazy munchies, and I was like Lynn has these Pillsbury pastries in the fridge, so we make them, all of a sudden Lynn wakes up and walks into the kitchen and says “WHAT IS THAT” “I SMELL SOMETHING” “THAT BETTER NOT BE MY PILLSBURY” We were like yea it is… she FREAKED beyond freaked, she went insane like you killed my mom type of crazy, the point is I had to go at 3 in the morning to buy the replacement.

Ok – so tell me a story about Lynn? When we were younger we used to party all the time together, and every weekend we would party at the Wonder Bar at The W, and we would always dance on the speakers, and Lynn got very into it that after a little while she always wanted to be in the spotlight so she would sometimes push us out-of-the-way and be like “I’m dancing for my audience ” so she could dance up front and show off all her crazy dance moves.

How surprising….

Catching up with the girls was so fun but now it was time to meet up with the boys at Jacques and Vi’s wedding. Kyra and I quickly changed and headed over to their ceremony, which was at a park during the sunset and was magnificent…but now it was time to party. My old friend Didier, a successful producer in Toronto “Sndwrx” and his girl arrived in the sweetest Winnebago! Naturally we did a spontaneous photo shoot in front of it. Good times.
