Every November, the Jersey City Fire Department holds a fundraiser to raise some money to give to members on the job whose family members are battling cancer. Last year, they raised about $500 and gave it to a member whose mom is battling cancer. This year, the JCFD are raising money to give to a member whose wife is in pretty rough shape.

The money is a nice gesture from the JCFD to the individual to let him know that his brothers are there for him. So far, they have raised $910 this year! The money is just to help him and his wife out.
