“Artist bringing to light both the gold around your neck and more importantly the gold with your heart”

There are few people in this world that carry such a light within them that whenever they enter a room that light engulphs the whole space. Dru-Chainz is this person. I’ve met him a bunch of times and whenever I see him at events he radiates positive vibes and energy.

An artist, who during the day is also Cardiac Surgical Technologist. Basically he helps fix people’s hearts. How poetic is that? I swear I can’t make this shit up.

Dru has been going through it during the pandemic, in the thick of it all working at the hospital. We recently sat down to chat about everything and you can tell it was uncomfortable. I really wonder the effects this pandemic is going to have on the mental health of our nurses and doctors on the frontline.

Dru took this negative and channeled whatever energy he had left to create beautiful pieces that he would gift to frontline workers as a way to give thanks for all that they do. How do we give thanks to Dru? For blessing us with his artwork, his positive energy and just being a dope interview.
