Chris Zaires is a NJ native recently making his second living stint in JC. After graduating from Brown University, Chris had a quick cup of coffee as a professional hockey player. He loves cooking, hanging out with his friends, Rangers games, and spending time with his pup, Nico.
What do you currently do for a living?
I currently head healthcare research for a finance firm based in Denver.
What is your dream job?
My dream job is to be a general manager of an NHL franchise.
What is your favorite place to hang out or eat in Jersey City?
There are so many great spots on Newark/Grove – I’m usually a regular at Ani Ramen, Ashford, Porta, Orale, but definitely like to venture into the surrounding JC neighborhoods and try to find some hidden gems – JC has so much to offer socially and good eats wise.
How does it feel to be nominated as a JC babe?
Flattered is obviously the first thought that comes to mind with the talented city we live in and just coming back, but also curious about who nominated me…
What are 3 random facts about yourself?
I was a contestant on the Price is Right
I used to be a professional baker
I was a 21 year-old freshman in college – greatest thing
What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done or wanted to do?
I always try to say yes to a good dare – so there have been a few. I’d say streaking in college is right up there. In the future, I’d love to run with the bulls for sure.
What do you love most about Jersey City?
Definitely the Waterfront – amazing views and great spot to take a morning walk with the pup. Also, the location – a quick trip into NYC or short drive down to the shore.

Rachel Disalvo Aka Rachel The Realtor is a native New Yorker who was born and raised in Brooklyn. In 2007, she ventured across the Hudson River for production work, and stumbled upon the cobblestone streets of The Powerhouse Art’s District in Jersey City, it was there that she fell in love with the Garden State. After working 10 years in Fashion and Public Relations, Rachel decided to leave NYC behind and settle in the rapidly developing Jersey City/Hoboken area.
What do you currently do for a living?
Real Estate Broker / Investments and Development
What is your dream job?
I get to work my dream job every day, finding homes for families and helping new investors make lots of money through Real Estate!
I look forward to building a large live/ work space for the community someday soon.
What is your favorite place to hang out or eat in Jersey City?
You can usually find me at The Grind Coffee shop! It’s like my satellite office.
One of my favorite places to eat is the new Tacoria on Erie street because they have the best vegan tacos! Smoked Brussels sprouts! yum
How does it feel to be nominated as a JC babe?
I know I’ve truly made it now! lol
What are 3 random facts about yourself?
Previously a celebrity wardrobe stylist, Can name all members of the Wutang Clan, and I’m Vegan.
What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done or wanted to do?
I’ve walked across hot fiery coals, jumped in an Icy ocean, but I still want to sing in the NYC Subway.
What do you love most about Jersey City?
I love the diversity, the friendly small town vibes, and the most majestic views of NYC!
Sylvester Wright – @coachgetwright_fbf

Sylvester Wright IV is in his first season on the Morehead State coaching staff and leads the Eagle cornerbacks. Wright most recently served as an assistant coach at Union City (N.J.) High School where helped lead the program to state championship appearances in 2017 and 2018. He was the defensive backs and wide receivers coach. Union City was also county champions all three seasons with Wright on staff. He coached Division I signees Jordan Morant (Michigan), Terai Powell (Rutgers) and Mo Thiem (Delaware State). Wright was the defensive backs coach for the north squad of the Phil Simms State All-Star Game in 2018. In 2016, his defensive backs unit piled up 15 interceptions, and the team led the state in shutouts. In 2017, one of his free safeties tied the school record with five interceptions, including one taken back for a 104-yard touchdown.
Wright’s playing career began at Morgan State and finished at Kean (N.J.) where he was a team captain and a part of the 2015 ECAC President Bowl championship team. The Jersey City, N.J., native attended St. Anthony High School. He has attended and worked at many notable camps, including the Odell Beckham Jr., Youth Camp, Victor Cruz Youth Camp and the Sterling Sheppard Youth Camp.
Wright earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from Kean in 2016.
What do you currently do for a living?
I’m currently an assistant coach for a division 1 FCS football program- Morehead State University In Kentucky , I also train high school and college athletes around the tri-state area who play the sport of football(the brand is called (GetWright)
What is your dream job?
My dream job is to be an NFL coach
What is your favorite place to hang out or eat in Jersey City?
My favorite place to eat in Jersey City would be Ringside, Light Rail Cafe, and Brightside Tavern. Favorite place to hang out would be Porta, O’Hara’s, Rooftop at Exchange, and Halftime Bar & Grill.
How does it feel to be nominated as a JC babe?
It feels great and an honor to be a babe of my city & of my birth place

I’m resilient , I love to dance, and I love to bowl
What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done or wanted to do?
The craziest thing I’ve ever did was I skinny dipped in Harrah’s nightclub in Atlantic City 🤦🏽♂️
What do you love most about Jersey City?
The most thing I love about my city is to see the growth from what it was, the support , diversity, and the night life
