Many people turn to Astrology to answer their burning love life questions, reading every article they can find on compatibility between their zodiac sign and their crush’s or partners. With crosswatching (reading the horoscope for the object of your affections) is on the rise, I’d thought I’d make it just a little easier to dig up some dirt. Whether you just started dating or you’re in a long-term relationship, these are the ideal dates for the sign that has currently has your heart. If you’re an astro-nerd like me, who loves to read everything about their sign, this is for you too! So next time you have to plan a date you’ve got something in your queue.
Aries – Arcade and Go-Karts
Forever young at heart, Aries will enjoy arcade games, laser tag and go-karts. As a fire sign, they’re competitive by nature so any activity with a clear winner will thrill them. This date is sure to bring out their fun-loving intensity that makes everyone fall head overheels. If you talk smack to them it’s a done deal, but if you dish it out, be prepared to get it back. This date will make both of you feel like a kid again, and that’s where the magic starts while dating a ram.
Taurus – A Romantic Home-Cooked Meal
Taurus prefer their dates to be in close proximity to the bedroom. That’s why a home-cooked meal will win over the bulls. But this can’t be just any meal, no, no, no. This sensual earth sign ruled by Venus likes to be romanced. A nice table set, candles, rose petals and champagne, the whole nine yards. This will have them melting right in front of you. Ask your Gemini out to trivia night and watch their eyes light up. This intellectual air sign will enjoy showing off all the random knowledge they’ve acquired over the years. You’ll really feel the spark while you debate over the answers. Gemini will get way too into it, and it will strangely be incredibly hot. Cancer will truly delight in a couples cooking class. There is just something so classically romantic about a picnic in the park, and this scene is also classically Libra! As an air sign ruled by Venus, they’re all about courtship and love; it’s on their brain at least 90 percent of the time. Lay down the blanket on a warm sunny afternoon, pack and assortment of fruits, cheese and meats. They are a sophisticated sign and will judge you on your charcuterie choices, plus some fancy wine is always a good idea. If you can make this date feel right out of a movie, Libra will instantly take a liking to you. No pressure, though! They appreciate the effort most of all.
Scorpio – A Comedy Show
A comedy show appeals to Scorpio’s dark and twisted sense of humor. Laughing their ass off will bring out the twinkle in their eyes. Capricorns are known to have a refined palate, and would therefore appreciate a wine tasting. Getting to casually stroll the vineyard and learn more about you will have the seagoat eating out of the palm of your hand. Be patient towards the end of the day while Capricron buys the entire stock of their favorite wine from the tasting. If they didn’t make an excuse to leave early, this is a good sign they’re interested and you’ll likely be sharing this wine on another date in the future. Capricorn doesn’t like to waste time.
Aquarius – An Art Museum
An art museum is like a playground to an Aquarius. They’ll be absolutely delighted to observe art work and talk about symbolism while exchanging opinions on the meaning behind it all. This intellectual air sign likes to get deep and express themselves, but they also enjoy bringing that out in others. Aquarius will get super into this date, so much so you may feel like they’re your personal tour guide. Don’t shy away from sharing your own interpretations, they really dig an individual and a free-thinker. The more “out-there” you are, the better.
Pisces – Paint & Sip
If there is art to be made and drinks to be drunk, Pisces is here for it. That’s why fishes would take great pleasure in a paint and sip date night. Good wine and a creative activity should really get the conversation flowing with this water sign. As the color on the canvas blends, so will the two of you. Pisces will bring up a ton of random topics, and this will be super endearing. Their easy-flowing magnetism will leave you wanting more.
