Last weekend, we went to try out the kayak tour in Liberty State Park. The tour covers the wildlife and habitats of Caven Point right here in Jersey City. I honestly had no idea this even existed until the wonderful LSP people told us about it and we wrote this post.

We joined the Sunday tour and had a blast! It’s been a few years since I’ve been in a kayak, so I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. If you’re afraid of trying it, they do have the option of using a kayak with pedals on them!

It was such a fun activity and only $20 for the full two hours! We learned so much from the tour guides. We even stopped at the Caven Point “beach” to check out the wildlife.

We even saw a live Horseshoe crab!!

We had so much fun! This is the perfect weekend activity. I love Liberty State Park! Stop by for your own kayak tour.
