Meet Blanca @armablanca14
Blanca Stefany Arambulo, also known as blanquita. was born in Ecuador and migrated to Jersey City at the age of 12. She considers herself to be a confident young woman who is down to earth and has been independent since a really young age. She graduated from DHS in 2013 and is currently attending Fairleigh Dickinson University. When she’s not home spending quality time with her family, she’s driving around downtown Jersey City looking for something “cool” to do.
1. What do you currently do for a living and what is your dream job?
I’m currently working for a well known Chiropractor in NYC and as a part time model. As for dream job, I still haven’t figured that out. But I can proudly say that I am a woman who has accomplished many goals, sets out everyday to live a life of inspiration for myself and those around me and continually looks for efforts that push humanity forward. Although there have been hurdles, I have not allowed them to stop me from achieving my goals. It is important to inspire and motivate others because nobody should ever put a limit on their dreams and lives.
2. How does it feel to be nominated as a JC babe?
It feels so cool !!! I love this city and all the things I’ve accomplished while living here. I feel so thankful for all the support and love I been receiving.
3. What is your favorite place to hang out or eat in Jersey City?
This is so hard because I always like to go and try different places and foods but I recently visited The oak on Pine and I fell in love. My absolutely favorite place to hang out is the movies!!!!! I love going to the movies. You can literally find me at the theater every Friday.
4. What are 3 random facts about yourself?
I played basketball and soccer during high school and I totally sucked at it.
I’ve been doing beauty pageants since I was 3 years old, in my country Ecuador and here in Jersey. I had the opportunity to represent the Hispanic community of New Jersey in Miss Ecuador Universe and placed 3rd place. Very proud of it.
I’m the tallest female in my family, mind you I have 8 brothers and sisters.
5. What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done or wanted to do?
The craziest thing I’ve done is leave my job, family, friends and my city to move to Ecuador for 6 months by myself to compete in a beauty pageant. The experience was indescribable. Pageants build great skills and self-confidence as well as it provides many opportunities in the modeling and acting world. They also encourage charity. Who doesn’t love giving back? It’s a great way to stay active in your community as well. The overall experience I had, the memories I made, and the friends I’ve met truly made this crazy adventure unforgettable.
6. What do you love most about Jersey City?
I love the diversity we have. One minute I feel like I’m in the Philippines, and the next I’m in a small Indian town. Jersey City is one of best cities in the US with accessibility to everything and everywhere. I love being a JC girl!

3. How does it feel to be nominated as a JC babe?
Ever since I was just a wee babe, I’ve had aspirations of being a grown man babe so this is pretty much a dream come true. I’d like to thank my genetics and the road that gave me the scars to get here. A lot of people don’t understand how much time and effort goes into being ruggedly handsome. I am honored to be listed here amongst the past and future babes of this great city.

I spent most of my 20’s in a van traveling the country playing music in basements and bars.

I have a 7-year-old Old English bulldog named Cheryl and she’s the sweetest city hippo around.
5. What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done or wanted to do?
Most of those things I can’t really talk about here, but I feel like I’ve done and accomplished most of the things I’ve wanted to do. And as new wants come up, and new ideas of great adventures, I plan on going about it the way I always do. Grabbing that sonovabitch by the horns and taking the ride.
6. What do you love most about jersey city?
The family of it all. I’m from a very rural part of the world. I believe in saying hello to strangers and holding doors. I ended up in Jersey City by an actual accident (I got ran over by a car in Manhattan) and came to JC broke and broken. The people in this city helped me get back on my feet. Helped me find work and a place to live. I’ll be forever grateful to the good people here. The people here is what makes this place so special, and make this a great place to call home.
Thank you to all the babes of JC for this month!
