I know I don’t have to convince any of you about how amazing Jersey City is. The culture, the art, the food, the constant flow of events and things to do…Jersey City is truly one of the best and most diverse cities in the tristate area. One of my personal favorite qualities about this city? The stunning views! Spring is officially here, the weather is getting warmer, the days are getting longer, and the sunsets are getting stronger. Here’s a roundup of all the best spots in Hudson County for insta-worthy views that will have you ooo-ing and ahh-ing all year long.

1. Liberty State Park – With the Manhattan Skyline, Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island as its backdrop, Liberty State Park is a true Jersey City gem. Picnic tables with outdoor grilling space, playgrounds, outdoor fitness circuits, and a two-mile boardwalk all fill up the 1,122 acres of open space. Be sure to check out the historical Central Railroad of New Jersey and the Empty Sky Memorial, dedicated to the memory of those from New Jersey that lost their lives during the 9/11terrorist attacks.

2. Exchange Place Waterfront – Located in Downtown Jersey City, Exchange Place sits along the Hudson River facing lower Manhattan. Right off the PATH Station, The Waterfront provides photo worthy views and a boardwalk perfect for spending a relaxed afternoon. Grab some grub at one of the many local eateries such as Tidal Poke Co and Ground Connection Coffee, and don’t forget to snap a pic of the infamous Colgate Clock too!

3. Boulevard East – This has to the absolute best spot for panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline because you get to see Midtown and Downtown. Located in Weehawken off of the NJ Turnpike, Boulevard East is not only beautiful during the daytime, but a must see after dark when the skyline is lit in bright colors by all of the building lights. It’s a romantic place to walk, with dog parks, playgrounds, and benches galore filled with a ton of New Jersey history.

4. Battello Restaurant – Located on the Newport Waterfront, Battello serves up seafood influenced Italian with five star views perfect for your next date night. The menu changes with the seasons, but you can catch stunning views overlooking the Hudson River at the Freedom Tower and Manhattan skyline all year long. They host private events too!

5. The Highline – Ok so this one isn’t in Hudson County, but have you ever gotten a chance to see what our beautiful city looks like from the other side of the River? The Highline is a public park elevated above Manhattan’s West Side stretching from Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District to West 34th Street between 10th and 12th avenues. With plenty of places to eat along the way, The Highline is the perfect location to venture outside of Jersey City for beautiful views of both Manhattan and the city we call home.
