This post doesn’t need an intro. A long overdue article on where to eat hummus in Jersey City and Hoboken. This is an intro to more Chickpea related content (not joking).
Honestly very tough list to put together, because I am super picky when it comes to hummus for obvious reasons, but I am proud to say that Jersey City and Hoboken has some really good smashed me dishes. Here are my favs!
Uncle Momo
289 Grove St
I eat here at least once a week to get my hummus fix, so they are top on my list. Deliciously smooth, perfectly seasoned and super fresh.
Mamoun’s Falafel
300 Washington St
Mamoun’s in Hoboken gives me all the hummus feels. Their falafel is fantastic too! I went there recently and just asked for a pita and hummus and they looked at me like I was crazy. Common Mamoun’s, I just want my hummus fix sometimes!
Ibby’s Falafel
303 Grove St

Have you tried the hummus from Cavany? They are at the grove st farmers market, a catering and meal delivery business, opening a storefront, I think in Bergen-Lafayette. I’m dizzy on location, so that may be wrong.
I’ve no officiation, aside from really loving hummus. My husband loves their bean salad too. Key lime tart is drool worthy!
