Happy National Bao Day! We have a few favorites Downtown and couldn’t help but share them. Let us know what your favorite spots are, especially outside of the Downtown area!
1. Ani Ramen

Ani Ramen is a recent addition to Jersey City, and they have a delicious selection of bao! They have tofu buns (perfect veg-friendly option!), pork buns, and shrimp buns on their menu.
2. Talde

Talde is known for their delicious selection of food, and their Bao options are local favorites! They have their #6 Bao (includes spicy chicken and mayo), MC Bao (with boneless ribs and pickles), Edamame Falafel Bao, and Crispy Avocado Bao for brunch.
3. Miso Ramen
189 Newark Ave
Miso Ramen has been around for a while and among their large menu with ramen, gyoza, and salads, they offer marbled pork buns! They look and taste amazing.
4. Cellar 335
335 Newark Ave
Cellar 335 offers three types of bao – short rib, veggie, and blackened bass. They also have a sharing plate called the #BaoDown, with char sui pork belly and kimchee pickle!
5. Babo Teahouse

When stopping at Babo Teahouse for gelato or a smoothie, grab a quick bite to eat! They offer a variety of buns – roast park, pork and veggie, red bean, custard, and veggie.
