1. White Star Bar Burger

White Star Bar on Brunswick Street is a local favorite, and also claims to be the best burger in Jersey City. This bacon cheeseburger made with a Pat LaFrieda blend will surely hit the spot. To be honest, my favorite part about this meal are the crispy fries. SO GOOD.

 

2. New Park Tavern

575 West Side Ave

Last year, when we did a poll of your “Top 3 Burgers,” Park Tavern won by a landslide! The burger is a classic, no-frills, pub-style burger that goes perfectly with a cold beer. Juiciest burger I’ve ever tasted in my life, to be honest. This is a must try in Jersey City.

 

3. Dark Side of the Moo

52 Bowers St

Dark Side of the Moo is a food truck turned restaurant located in the Heights. They specialize in exotic meats from alligators, kangaroos, and more! The burger that we really want to try is the Southern Comfort Burger – A cheeseburger topped with a mac and cheese patty, pulled pork, BBQ sauce, coleslaw and pickles. How’s that for munchies?! yummy.

 

4. Fox and Crow

594 Palisade Ave

As soon as Fox and Crow opened up over a year ago, I heard that their burger was a must-try. This awesome speakeasy in the Heights has the best drinks, and their burger is to die for. Enjoy a drink, a cocktail and if your lucky some live music!

 

5. Left Bank Burger Bar

194 Newark Ave

The veggie burger at Left Bank is easily one of the best burgers you’ll ever have, whether you’re a meat-eater or vegetarian! Left Bank gets their veggie burgers from JC Veggie Burgers (no wonder it’s so good!). It’s incredibly filling, tastes amazing, and I’ve heard it’s a customer favorite!
