A few months ago, we took a fun tour of Harrison, New Jersey. During the tour, we were taken to The Vanguard, a super cute restaurant set in the 1940s. As soon as you walk in, it’s like you’ve been transported into a different time.
It’s the perfect place if you want to get out of Jersey City and try something new. I would love it for a girls night or a special occasion. They have a great pace in the back where they occasionally have comedy nights, special events, and happy hours. Fun fact – it’s the same owners as Franklin Social here in Jersey City!
Their TIKI Drinks are SO on point!!
The food was OUTSTANDING. Seriously, everything we ate was just fantastic. I can’t wait to go back!
Here are the dishes we tried while we visited The Vanguard –
Housemade Pretzel
Burrata
Falafel Platter!!
Harvest Salad with Grilled Chicken
Whole Roasted Fish
Grab your closest friends and check it out for yourself! The Vanguard is located at 705 Frank E Rodgers Blvd South in Harrison, NJ.
