We were all heartbroken when South House announced it was closing its doors in November 2020, yet another staple of Newark Ave was gone. It was a great hangout spot, perfect for drinks and Southern comfort foods on a chill Friday night.

This afternoon, it seems that South House hinted at a return.

“Rising like a Phoenix” sounds like South House is coming back and better than ever in May 2021! We don’t have the details, but we’re anxiously waiting to see what they have in store for us.
