Flatbread Grill is owned and run by the Esendemir Sisters, a power team of women entrepreneurs who worked on a Mediterranean restaurant concept that boomed into popularity. They’re an incredible group of hardworking sisters, their food is delicious, and their expanding quickly! They recently opened their Journal Square location, so you can stop by and enjoy anything from a chicken platter to a bowl of hummus.

We’re excited to have them in Jersey City! No longer need to go to Hoboken for their delicious hummus. They invited Peter (photographer) and me for a preview tasting before their grand opening, and I was in chickpea heaven. Their food is really delicious. It’s quick, easy, and healthy. They have so many options that will please the vegan/vegetarian in your life, the carnivores, or the health-conscious. It’s also owned by three badass boss bitches.

They will also deliver to all of JC, which is fantastic for all those late-night hummus cravings. Join them tomorrow May 18th at 4:30 PM for their official ribbon cutting with Mayor Fulop. The ChicpeaJC team will be there as well!
