Anyone who knows me knows that I have an insane sweet tooth. I could live off of sugar for the rest of my life if it were good for me! We were recently invited to have “lunch” at Cookies N Crepes in Downtown Jersey City. I’ve been to Cookies N Crepes before on a late night munchie run, and I absolutely loved it. The whole ChicpeaJC team tagged along. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the Cookies N Crepes staff, who were super smiley and welcoming! We all felt right at home. It was 1:00 PM and I usually eat lunch at noon, so I was starving. My taste buds were ready for the treats that were waiting.

They brought out the Nutella Hot Chocolate first, which was beyond incredible and indulgent! It was just so amazing; I can’t even describe it. Then the gluttony began. Cookies N Crepes are known for their (obviously) cookies and crêpes, and we had our share of them. In the two and a half years that I’ve been blogging, never in my life have I eaten so much.

We started off with the classic best-selling crêpe – The Celebrity. With bananas, strawberries, and filled with Nutella, this was unbelievable. I think I ate most of it not knowing what was about to occur.

A fucking CHEESECAKE. Holy moly. I didn’t expect a classic chocolate raspberry cheesecake served in a Jersey City shop to be so delicious. I had to stop myself from eating more! Before I move on to more food porn, it’s important to note that they deliver. So whenever you’re getting a craving, or better yet the munchies, you can get it delivered right to your door. We asked Abdullah if people come into Cookies N Crepes high, to which he responded, “ALL THE TIME. All the time, and at every hour of the day! But it’s great; we’re happy to see them.”

One word: DELICIOUS. At this point, I don’t remember much. I was in a sugar coma, but I powered through. Even though I came with a whole team of people, two of my team members don’t consume dairy, so it was up to me to take one for the team and eat/drink everything! The milkshake was amazing, of course. I couldn’t stop drinking it even though my stomach was telling me I had enough. Cookies N Crepes is literally munchie heaven.

Put in a nice plate a bunch of cookies, ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate, and hot fudge, and you’ve got yourself a party in your mouth! I was done at this point, couldn’t eat anymore. Mohammad, the owner, made us another crêpe – it really just kept coming (and I loved it)!

Not pictured are the Empire State crepe (which includes cheesecake), the Oreo Fudge Brownie, and their S’mores Brownie. There were three more plates of sweets, and I wish I could’ve finished them all!
