RoofTop at Exchange Place is located at the top two floors of Hyatt House, and it’s the perfect spot to get some work done or drink some cocktails with friends while overlooking the incredible view of New York City.

Frankie is described as a bar with an Australian influence, and their menu is filled with food and drinks. You can grab a flatbread or a large plate, and you can enjoy anything from tea to cocktails!
Ample Hills Creamery

Ample Hills Creamery is a new ice cream shop in the area, originally from Brooklyn, made with hormone-free milk, cream from grass-fed cows, and organic cane sugar. Another spot perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth!
Corgi Spirits at the Jersey City Distillery

Corgi Spirits at the JC Distillery is the only distillery in the county. Take a tour of the distillery and try some spirits or cocktails! You can grab a bottle to take home and enjoy for a night in.
Dolya Cafe

Dolya Cafe specializes in blinis, which they define as “Eastern European pancake served with sugar, cream, butter, and other garnishes.” I had the Take Five, which had peanut butter, chocolate, and pretzels – delicious! They’re also open til pretty late, which is perfect for any night owls.
Harry’s Daughter

Harry’s Daughter is a new Caribbean gastropub located in Bergen-Lafayette. You can stop by for Jerk Chicken, Bao, and Ria’s Rum Punch for a good night out!
The Oak on Pine

The Oak on Pine adds a taste of the South to Jersey City! Their menu is filled with items like Fried Green Tomatoes, Vidalia French Onion Soup, and Shrimp & Grits.
Hidden Grounds Coffee

Originally in New Brunswick, Hidden Grounds is the newest coffee shop downtown. You can grab a bagel sandwich, espresso drinks, and even try a vegan chai spice cookies!
Menya Sandaime

Menya Sandaime brought their Japanese ramen shop to Jersey City from Fort Lee. Located right in the Newport area, anyone can stop by for hot plates of gyoza and ramen.
Rockin Mex

Rocking Mex tends to hide in the background, but it’s a great place with delicious Mexican food. Sit down with some friends and enjoy 3 soft tacos with a side of guac and jarritos.
La Unica Bakery

With a location already open in Union City, La Unica brought their bakery to Jersey City! They serve smoothies, bubble teas, milkshakes, sandwiches, and more in a cozy location.
