Griot Cafe is a new cafe in the Heights! They have delicious pastries, coffee, tea, and more.
Korai Kitchen (576 Summit Ave)
Korai Kitchen isΒ Jersey City’s first Bangladeshi food spot, and it’s in Journal Square! They’re BYOB and open 6 days a week.
My Mexico (720 West Side Ave)
Originally a food truck, My Mexico opened up a restaurant on West Side Ave! They offer delivery and catering, and they’re open daily.
Crema (695 Bergen Ave)
Crema focuses on ice cream and coffee year-round, and they have a delicious assortment of treats available daily!
Ai Pho and Vermicelli (515 Jersey Ave)
Ai Pho and Vermicelli brings a new flavor of Vietnamese food to the area with a menu filled with pho, both rice and vermicelli dishes, shakes, and more. They’re also BYOB!
City Cafe & Bakery (2800 Kennedy Blvd)

City Cafe & Bakery is new to the Journal Square area, offering plenty of baked goods and pastries, sandwiches, and both iced and hot drinks in a cute little cafe.
The Royal (100 York St)

The Royal is a new gay bar in Downtown Jersey City. They offer a daily happy hour and weekly drag contests!
Buddy Who’s (247 Washington Blvd)
Buddy Who’s is known for Brunch, Burgers, and Brews. Their menu includes a Chicken Waffle Sandwich, a Pancake Sandwich, Cinnamon Toast Crunch Pancakes, and more!

Cocoa Bakery has a location Downtown, but they’re opening up another shop in the Heights! We can expect the same goodies for this location.
Pizza Vita (435 Palisade Ave)
Our favorite pizza food truck has a brick-and-mortar opening in the area!
Firehouse Blazing Pizza (488 Central Ave)
The appeal of Firehouse Blazing Pizza is in the name β it looks like a firehouse! The idea came from the owner’s interest in captivating customers so much that they won’t want to look at their phones. They’ll be serving pizza, espresso, and more.
Snapdragon (190 Monticello Ave)
Snapdragon will be offering coffee & beignets, while also acting as a clubhouse and performance space. You can expect fresh bread, baked goods, coffee, live music, and more!
