Yesterday, team member Chelsea attended the exclusive launch party to celebrate The Northern Trust and the start of the FedEx Cup Playoffs!

The Northern Trust is the first of three events as part of the FedEx Cup Playoffs during the PGA Tour Season. Featuring 125 players, some of the best golfers compete to advance. The Northern Trust has also generated nearly $50 million for charities in the New York/New Jersey Metropolitan area since the tournament’s inception in 1967.

What to Expect

We were given a preview of what guests can expect when attending the Northern Trust at the exclusive Liberty National Golf Club. The launch party included plenty of tasty bites, drinks, and a look at what everyone will enjoy throughout the week.

Of course, with the location of the Liberty National Golf Club, you can enjoy skyline views with the Statue of Liberty nearby!

Topgolf simulation

Guests can also enjoy Topgolf Swing Simulators throughout the day to have your own taste of the action.

Fan Zones and Maps

How to Get There

Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City is located across the Hudson River from Manhattan and is easily accessible to both New Jersey and New York. There are several ways to get to Liberty National Golf Club and join in on the fun, from shuttles to rideshare options.

Ferry

It’s a 15-minute ride from Brookfield Place in downtown Manhattan directly to the golf course at the Port Liberte entrance. Ferries will start running at 6:30am and will run until an hour after the last putt drops each day. Ferries will run approximately every 45-60 minutes throughout the day.

Train/Light Rail

PATH runs from NYC to Newport. If you’re coming from NY, take the train toward Journal Square. If you’re within NJ, take the train toward 33rd St.

Light Rail trains run through Newport in both directions, or you can go straight to Liberty State Park.

Shuttles are provided from Newport Centre and at Liberty State Park to bring you to the Main Entrance of the event.

Ridesharing

If you decide to use a ridesharing app, Uber and The National Trust are working together for the event! There’ll be an Uber Zone on Caven Point Road. You can use “Liberty National Golf Club” as the destination for your ride.

Parking

If you decide to drive in for The National Trust, general parking is available at Newport Centre for $25 per car per day. You can purchase parking passes online.
