On September 24th, stop by the first job fair brought together by York Street Project and Women Rising! They’re working together to host the job fair with the hope to create employment opportunities for families, including training programs and resources.
York Street Project provides resources and care to children and families in need, and they have served the Jersey City community for nearly 30 years. They carry out four different programs, each one touching upon a specific need for homeless and low-income individuals including education, housing, and early childhood development. With this Job Fair, they want to further provide these families with the opportunity to grow into self-sufficiency.
From 10AM to 2PM, you can head over to York Street Project to meet with over 15 employers. Be sure to bring at least 10 resumes and be ready to learn tips + tricks for interview success and creating a great resume. Get the resources you need and interview with potential employers at the York Street Project Job Fair!
