Virile JC Turns 1! – Lynn Hazan

A few weeks ago, bossman of Virile Barber & Shop Jersey City and a dear friend of mine, Andre Fersa reached out to me to let me know he will be throwing a special one year anniversary party at LITM. I immediately jumped at the opportunity and said to him let’s do a special one year post!! It was the perfect excuse for me to go back to Virile, get to know the new barbers and take fabulous pictures.

Last night was their big one year anniversary at LITM, I was so excited to see everyone and to also finally meet the Virile Waldwick Crew… minus Dan the barber who was there in spirit (and on FaceTime)

Dancing Tony was there DJ’ing and playing an array of music from good old Frank Sinatra to pop beats people were dancing to.

Livestock JC had a table filled with delicious goodies; gnocchi, arancini, pork shoulder… TO DIE FOR. I can’t wait to interview these guys and just stuff my face!!

The amount of stylish people at this party was sort of overwhelming, all the guys were so dapper! Which makes perfect sense since they all get their hair cuts at Virile. To all you single ladies out there who didn’t come to this party you really really really missed out. #swoon

Andre did an incredible job putting this party together, it was very well done. What impressed me the most is him and his team put together these cigar boxes filled with goodies; a tie, cigar, a wooden comb from rough design and co, a small bottle of tequila and vouchers to various local business’s. Such a fun and adorable idea!

I also loved that he took my advice and got a step and repeat!! Now the problem with that, I became the “unofficial” photographer of the night, people would tap on my shoulder and ask me to take their pic!! It was so fun though and I truly had a blast.

Stylish Peeps galore!

That being said, the one that stole the show was Aiden the dog. When Adam Reyes (owner of the Walwick spot) was living in JC, I would see Aiden almost everyday when I walked by the shop. It was so nice to be reunited with him. He is the cutest thing ever!
