The weekends have finally calmed down enough for us to resume our top events to attend on our break from the work week! This week has already started off very strong with the beginning of Jersey City Fashion Week and the Golden Door Film Festival there’s oh-so-much great stuff going on. To celebrate the start of fall you should all brace yourselves for an exciting murder cabaret, one last BBQ festival, an evening of poetry, a lunar eclipse and so much more.

This weekend’s most exciting event (coming from an astronomy buff) is fast approaching and it’s going to be a blast. With nearly 500 already set to attend this stellar Milky Way phenomenon there is still room for more! This will be the last time in the next two years that the east coast will be able to see a total lunar eclipse. What makes this one so great? It’ll be at the Liberty Science Center with food, friends, a Milky Way Martini toast, it’s BYOT (bring your own telescope) and stargazes will get to see a rare Super Blood Moon. Be ready to touch some moon rocks and enjoy Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon” laser show, most of all – get your tickets now! You don’t want to miss this. Rain or shine the eclipse will be visible.
