On July 23rd ChicpeaJC will be hosting the first Annual Forever Young Festival. The festival will take place on Saturday, July 23rd at 4:00 PM at The Pop Up Project PopUpLSP at 1 Edward Hart Rd in Jersey City. Tickets are $5 at the door.
The Forever Young Festival is a celebration of creatives curated by Lynn Hazan and Haytham Elgawly. It will be the first of an annual festival showcasing artists and vendors while creating a platform for networking, exposure, as well as an amazing hassle-free time outdoors. Guests should expect great energy, phenomenal vibes, and a day where everyone can take their cool off and just enjoy the moments. It is an 18+ event with alcoholic beverages for everyone of age. The festival will have local talented artists and vendors for entertainment as well as festival games and activities.

15. ReUse, ReDuce, RePurpose: The Art of ReFuse Artist Reception

Victory Hall Drawing Rooms is holding an opening reception for the ReUse, ReDuce, RePurpose exhibition this weekend and you won’t want to miss it. This exhibition features the work of Thai artist Thammakit Thamboon’s sculpture outdoors on the front lawn and April Ford, Barbara Lubliner, Jodie Fink, Kate Dodd, Laura Petrovich Cheney, Linda Byrne, Maggie Ens, Robert Lach and Tyrome Tripoli sculpture and installation in 9 gallery rooms. Each artist shows how refuse can be recreated and turned into something new.
