3. Feeding the Homeless at PERC

The Rotary Club of Jersey City is moving their regular meeting at Liberty Prime to the PERC Shelter in Union City. PERC offers meals and services to hundreds of individuals and families each day. They plan on meeting at 5:30 PM to assist with dinner prep. If you have the time, end your Thursday night by providing a helpful service!

15. Riverview Jazz Festival

Relax and enjoy spectacular views of the Hudson River and Manhattan skyline at Jersey City’s family-friendly festivals. Catch free outdoor performances by world-famous musicians, plus children’s activities, food trucks, beer gardens, vendors, and more.

The fifth annual Riverview Jazz Festival is back and bigger than ever, with two free all-day concerts in Jersey City, and dozens of other events throughout Hudson County.

16. Bike JC’s 8th Annual Jersey City Ward Tour & Festival
June 4 @ 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
City Hall, Jersey City

The tour starts on Sunday morning at 11 a.m. on Montgomery Street at Grove Street, next to City Hall (280 Grove St.). Protected by rolling street closures implemented by Jersey City police, riders make a clockwise loop around the city, at a manageable pace (10 mph at the front) with several rest breaks, and finish on the Plaza between 1 and 1:30 p.m.

The Finish Line Festival follows there all afternoon till 5 p.m., featuring live music, food and drink, an expo with community/nonprofit organizations, and more. Scheduled musical acts include Sylvana Joyce and the Moment, Mello, and Tru Soul.

17. Clothes & Vibes

Local artist Jay Hype is back at it with “Clothes N Vibes” the cookout edition at Cafe Sole. Bring gently used clothes or $5 entry fee. All clothes will be distributed to nearby shelters.
