With Christmas weekend coming up quick, places close early or aren’t open at all. We know how tedious it can be to scramble for last-minute ideas, so we compiled a list for anyone who wants find something to eat or a quick thing to do. Happy Holidays!

1. Bryan Beninghove’s Christmas Spectacular

2. Ugly Christmas Sweater Party

On December 23rd, Cellar335 will be hosting an Ugly Christmas Sweater party with Happy Hour-priced drinks 10:00 PM to midnight! There’ll be prizes for the top three ugliest sweaters and a DJ from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

If you want a nice, light brunch on Christmas Eve before you feast on some Christmas dinner, you can rely on Amelia’s Bistro! They’re open until 10:00 PM, which means you can stop by for a breakfast burrito, or maybe some crab cake sliders.

Who doesn’t like a good, flavorful meal? Get your Christmas meal in early or stop by for a quick bite at Orale Mexican Kitchen! Stop by and enjoy Huevos Rancheros or Corn Buñuelos throughout the day to prepare for the big holiday dinner.
Fun
For family-friendly fun, Liberty Science Center is always the place to go! Bring the kiddos to explore the Arctic and learn about animal tracking in the “We Explore: Winter Expedition” exhibit, or make some scaly or furry friends in “Animal Encounter.”
Have some fun before opening the holiday by visiting Pole Position Raceway! They will be opening at 10 AM and closing early at 6 PM, so you can squeeze in a race or two before the rush of family dinners and unwrapping presents.
Christmas Day
Food
If you happen to run out of leftovers, Bistro La Source is open from 4:00 PM. They’ll be offering their full menu, along with some of their fantastic specials throughout the night.
2. Vu Restaurant at Hyatt Regency
If you want a more upscale Christmas Day lunch or dinner, Vu Restaurant is the new go-to. You can enjoy their awesome Vu Caesar Salad, or try out their Chicken Schnitzel!
Fun
Christmas Day is a time to relax, and what better way to relax than to watch a movie? On Christmas weekend, you can take your children to watch SING, a light-hearted animated film, or check out Star Wars: Rogue One if you’d like a different sci-fi side of film.

4. Grace Church Van Vorst’s Dinner For The Homeless
Join Grace Church Van Vorst and St. Matthews Lutheran Church in preparing and sharing a Christmas dinner for the homeless right in their gym. Volunteers can come at 9:00 AM and sign up to help prepare, bring a dish, serve, hang out with our guests, and most importantly, help clean up afterwards.
