It’s Pride Month! While Jersey City celebrates Pride in August, here are some events going on in New Jersey and New York this month to celebrate Pride Month.
Hudson Pride Center offers many weekly and monthly community events and group meetings for local LGBTQIA+ individuals looking for a safe space. You could always look through their calendar for a schedule of their community events.

North Jersey Pride Festival

If you can find the time and transportation, the ninth annual North Jersey Pride Festival is happening on June 9th in Maplewood! It’s a family-friendly celebration with hundreds of vendors and food.

First Annual Pride Night at Trenton Thunder
June 10 @ 5:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Arm & Hammer Park, 1 Thunder Rd, Trenton
Stop by for the first Pride Night with Trenton Thunder and the NJ LGBT Chamber of Commerce! There’ll be a special Pride Hat Giveaway to the first 1,000 fans ages 14 and older, and a special pre-game networking event with special guest appearance by Billy Bean. Tickets are $20 each and include admission to the game + a food voucher.

Hudson Pride Center LGBTQ+ Prom 2019

We know we said outside of JC, but Hudson Pride Center is hosting its annual LGBTQIA+ Prom at the Culinary Arts Institute at Hudson County Community College. It’s a safe and inclusive space for anyone between the ages of 15 and 22, and it’s free!
