Light shows and tree lighting is an essential part of the holiday season. The Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony will commence at Pedestrian Hall on Tuesday, December 10, 6:00 pm – 6:30pm. Join the Mayor in celebrating the holiday season as they light the Christmas tree and Menorah. A special bonus: kids will have the opportunity to make ornaments and take them home. Busy Bee Organics will be selling its famous S’mores Hot Cocoa from 5-7 PM and you won’t want to miss it!
Jersey City Nutcracker

Nimbus Dance Works is back with their annual production of the Jersey City Nutcracker! This is a popular Holiday tradition and Nimbus Dance Works delivers in bringing this musical favorite to fruition. Amidst colorful sets, costumes, a brightly adorned tree, youth and adults alike are touched by this tale of Christmas spirit. You can see it starting December 13th.

Stop by Hudson County Community College’s free holiday event for a bunch of kid-friendly activities and photos with Santa! The library will be transformed into a winter wonderland on December 14th from noon to 3PM.
