Jacklyn is a jack-of-all trades; if she isn't photographing people, she's shopping, cooking or writing (not that she's very good at it). She received her Bachelor's of Arts in Anthropology and Art at Rutgers University and hopes to finishes her studies and receive her ph.d. Jacklyn also has a mental illness, Generalized Anxiety Disorder and writes on her blog & Instagram account as a cathartic release in hopes that it helps other people understand. She advocates for the end of the stigma surrounding those with mental illness and has worked with many mental health brands to shoot product photography for their merchandise. She finds connecting fashion with mental health awareness has enabled many people to find comfort and education on an easier level of understanding and hopes that her strides in being vulnerable about her illness will lead her to great things.
