On May 18th, Liberty Science Center had their LSC After Dark: Grecian Gala party and it was a blast. To my surprise, many people showed up in togas! It was my first ever toga party, which was cool.
There was a pottery lab, wine tasting, the Rat Olympics, and a Hercules challenge for people who wanted to test their strengths. Guests had the opportunity to shoot bows & arrows and untie knots of rope! Guests also had the opportunity to participate in the Block Party exhibit to learn how the Ancient Romans built their arches, or join a philosophy discussion with Dr. Yunus Tuncel about the behaviors of Greek gods. There was also a toga contest and, of course, a dance contest! With so many activities, it was easy for everyone to have a good time.
As always, people had fun while they roamed around the Science Center to interact with exhibits and take part in activities like the Infinity Climber.
It was another great night! I’m very excited for the next one – LSC After Dark: Nerd Prom. LSC will showcase technology entrepreneurs and their innovative designs and creations, and the night will feature a futuristic fashion show.
You can get tickets now, and keep up with more details by following LSC After Dark on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
