On April 20th, LSC held their 9th LSC After Dark event with the theme “Freak Show!” It was definitely an experience I won’t forget. Some people did dress up, which was great! We love seeing everyone get into the spirit of the theme. I dressed as a ringleader, and James dressed as half man/half woman. It was so much fun!

Walking into LSC, the first thing you see is the Oddities market with vendors selling freaky gifts, which was really cool. There was a person handling a snake, a bug buffet, and LSC even had a sword swallower! An awesome guest even joined us – Dani Fonseca, the makeup artist from Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” video. To keep the party alive, LSC also had DJ Malo and MC Hayoner.

There was a Strong Man (or woman) arm and thumb wrestling competition. Guests learned what it took to lay on a bed of nails, checked out the skull lab, and tried some animal crackers dipped in liquid nitrogen! The options for activities were endless!

Guests also had the chance to check out all of the exhibitions in Liberty Science Center. There were even contortionists at the Freak Show who showed up to dazzle the crowd!
