Bringing their skill and passion together once again, Clarence Rich and Mustart will showcase their most recent works for Polarity, an artistic exhibition opening on February 13 at Prime Gallery in Jersey City. The artists translate their street style onto canvas in this spectacular, vibrant display.
Clarence Rich and Mustart are classically trained artists, graduating from duCret and NJCU respectively. Their friendship has inspired many mural collaborations that Jersey City locals have admired on the streets for over a decade. Each artist has unique inspiration for their canvas works and Polarity speaks to the artist’s different approaches.
Each piece in this show is a kaleidoscope of color. Clarence is constantly playing with language, translating the poetry of spoken word into visual experiences while Mustart looks at art as therapy. Viewers will see numbers, letters, verse, and symbols of nature scattered collage-style throughout the canvas.
Polarity will have an opening reception Saturday February 13th. The gallery will be mandating masks and limiting patrons in accordance with the New Jersey state mandates.
