Ever since my last Pacific Flea post, I’ve been counting the days till spring for it to re-open. My favorite activity is hitting up local markets…. there is fun for everyone; shopping, food, music. It’s the best!!
Well this year the team behind the Pacific Flea; Joel, Brittany and owner of this establishment Stewart took things up a few notches and brought in more vendors and so many more people came out!
The Pacific Flea is different then the other Jersey City markets, it’s hard to explain but it has a certain ambiance that you can’t get at a downtown market. It was honestly the perfect day for a market. They really lucked out.
DJ Avi Mclain was there spinning some funky beats and mini chicpea was dancing all over the flea market! (I wonder where she gets it). Look how stylish he is? If he still lived in Jersey City he would of been on my stylish peeps list!! Come back Avi!
So many awesome vendors where there representing, and it took every inch of will power not to go crazy shopping!
How amazing are these greeting cards?!!
Taproot Organics! One of my favorite JC people, their soaps are amazing and I am addicted. Now you guys all know the secret to my soft skin. #shamelessendorsement
E.Tittlemouse was there representing, and also selling the Damaged Wear & ChicpeaJC t-shirt!! yay!
So many wonderful finds; records, antiques, furniture…
After all that shopping and dancing it was time to get some eats out of the Mordi’s Foodtruck! I love Mordi, my israeli brother from another mother. I got a Sabich Sandwich which is a pita filled with fries, fried eggplant, salad, tahini and a hard boiled egg. IT WAS AMAZING. I was back in Tel Aviv at the Carmel Market.
We got some delicious Banana pudding from Baonananation for mini chicpea and ended up eating most of it.
I also ran into some friends! Baes Turnstyle Art and Grandma Downtown!
Mr. Mustart is everywhere!
The Pacific flea happens every second Saturday of the month!! Hope to see you all at the next one!
Thanks for sharing! Where actually is this? I love flea markets! Never knew of this one! Will totally be there next month.
