Last night I attended the NJ Golden Gloves Tournament for their final night – the 2016 Championships at the Pershing Field Ring. This is an event I just couldn’t miss! I went last year and had such a good time! Boxing is probably one of my favorite sporting events!

I got to sit ringside with members of the press, a few local celebrities like Mario owner of hangout spot Ringside and the White Mana Diner.

I hung out most of the night with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Hudson County. What an amazing organization!

The highlight of the fights was when Ethan Montenegro aka Kid Thunder representing Jersey City, went against another kid from PA. The fight was intense, and I was sitting at the edge of my seat the whole time. I was so excited that Ethan won the 90lbs championship. Can’t wait to interview him and hear his story!

Another favorite moment was when the BBBS Crew got together for this adorable photo in the ring. It’s all about these kids.

Oh, can we mention the eye candy?
