It’s never too early to celebrate Halloween, right?

The latest LSC After Dark party was a hit! Thank you to everyone who came to party in true Halloween spirit. The costumes we saw were incredible. It’s amazing to see how creative and enthusiastic everyone was for Zombtoberfest!

There were amazing special effects artists from the School of Makeup Effects available throughout the night to “zombify” guests. Host HayOner even transformed for the night! With or without a costume, everyone was ready for Halloween.

Of course, the drinks and food were a hit, but what made this After Dark party significantly special were the snacks – BUGS. From tarantula legs to crickets, you could snack on some critters (and even learn about their nutritional value in the process)!

Everyone loved the laser show, singing along and having a good time while music played by Michael Jackson or from Rocky Horror Picture Show. When you weren’t listening to the laser show tunes, you could find DJ Rob Cast keeping the party hype. He even joined us on the dance floor!

Chicpea even surprised us with a Thriller flash mob in the middle of the night with her crew. Guests even joined in! It was so much fun.

If you really wanted to get scared, Doom Zoo was well worth it. Straight from the entrance, you could feel the eeriness. All you could hear were screams as people walked through Doom Zoo and returned to the party speechless! If you wanted a more tame experience, the exhibits were open for everyone to enjoy.

Overall, it was an awesome night. Thanks to Liberty Science Center for having us for #LSCAfterDark! And thank you to all the staff involved – photographers, videographers, volunteers, everyone! It was a blast.
