My dear friend Tina Nalls, who is an angel in Jersey City, invited me to a prom at Kidz Kastle last week!

Every year, they throw a themed prom for the kids, who are between the ages of 1 and 5. The school was transformed all in Gatsby-themed balloons, decorations, dim lighting. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like that in a day care center!

All the kids were dressed to the nines in Gatsby theme. Flapper dresses, three-piece suits, fedoras, you name it. I’ve thrown a speakeasy party before and I’ll tell you, these kids made the adults at my event look weak.

They had a little dinner and then hit the dance floor. What I loved about the event is that it was for the kids, they had to kick parents out. Take the picture and leave, which I thought was hysterical. I’m so glad I was invited!
