Thanksgiving has come and gone and the true holiday season is in full swing!

The Historic Downtown Special Improvement District presents its Annual Historic Downtown Tree Lighting and Menorah Ceremony at the Newark Ave. Pedestrian Mall! On Thursday, December 8th from 5 PM to 6 PM, you can join Mayor Fulop and Santa in celebrating the holiday season.

I haven’t missed a tree lighting in four years! It’s really the best way to kick off the holiday season. Bring your little one for this joyous occasion.

Mayor Steven Fulop will be there along with members of council, local business owners, and most importantly Santa!

There’ll be music by Matty Dee along with the McNair Choir and free cookies for kids, sponsored by HDSID!
