Groove on Grove does JC Fridays

This Friday, June 5th is “JC Fridays”; which is a city wide celebration of the arts that happens a few times a year. It also happens to be the year anniversary to the first one I ever covered. Since then I’ve done 3 JC Fridays (I skipped one in the winter to catch up on sleep and the Kardashians #guilty).

It is one of my favorite city events and but at the same time the most stressful! There are so many events all over town it is virtually impossible to cover it all, but I do my best! That being said, my favorite part of JC Fridays is the HDSID‘s Groove on Grove, it’s the only part of the night that I take for myself to enjoy live music, have a drink… and if my mini-chicpea is with me really “turn up”, the kiddos love the live music and entertainment! #freefun

This week, Groove on Grove skips over the usual Wednesday to land on the super-mega-giant JC Friday and will have a market that starts at 1pm. So you guys should start thinking of excuses on why you should leave work early on Friday…
