Last night, we were invited by the Business District Alliance of Fort Lee to attend their Restaurant Week kick off with celebrity chef guests David Burke, Josh Capon, Dale Talde, Antonio Dinis, and Ben Pollinger at Ventana’s Restaurant and Lounge in Fort Lee. All proceeds of this event will benefit the Fort Lee Public Schools Meal Program.

How could I say no to a good dinner party that’s also for a good cause? Sign me up!

I arrived to Ventana’s at around 7pm, pulled up to their valet and was greeted by a few sexy cars, which was exciting. I’ve never been here and absolutely loved the chic venue. This place is like if Liberty House and The Ashford had a baby, for all you Jersey Citians.

Anyway, I checked in for the Restaurant Week event and enjoyed a delicious cocktail, which was perfect after a long work day.

Celebrity chef David Burke said a few nice words and introduced the participating chefs and their dishes. We enjoyed some delicious bites that were passed around. I was so hungry, I don’t even remember what my favorite dish was but everything tasted amazing and I was super happy to be amongst these great chefs eating their food.

More than 40 eateries are participating in Fort Lee Restaurant Week, which began on September 23 and will last through Friday, September 29, giving you an opportunity to taste exquisite flavors from a variety of cultures at appealing prices. Each restaurant has their own select menu or specials that will give you a night to remember.
