A few weeks ago, I was asked by the wonderful Joy Devlin of Dress for Success Hudson County to host the red carpet for their Valentine’s Day gala at Liberty House in Jersey City. Joy is my Jersey City mom and I would do anything for her, so I gladly obliged. I also knew it would be an extremely fabulous event because Joy is fabulous, Dress for Success is a fabulous organization, and Liberty House is a fabulous venue.
We arrived at around 6PM, and I got to interview some great members of our community and ask them what they were wearing, and their thoughts on this organization. Everyone was in high spirits and excited for the evening. After a brief cocktail hour, we all sat down for speeches. Joy went up to say a few words, as well as Mayor Steven Fulop, and The Tony DeMeo Orchestra provided live music all night.
We had a delicious 3-course meal. The food at Liberty House never disappoints, it was delicious. Then people hit the dance floor and were dancing up a storm the whole night.

Lynn, glad to have met you and your team at the ball, I was totally unprepared on the red carpet; especially after following Waze through the streets of Jersey City. I thought you should know that your blog/website is very cool- kudos to the designer.
I hope we meet again soon!
Best regards,
Tony
