It’s time to start the countdown for the upcoming silent event in Jersey City! On July 1st, ChicpeaJC is kicking off the holiday weekend with a silent event, SH*T UP AND LISTEN! After attending a silent event in Miami last year, ChicpeaJC decided to bring a silent event to Jersey City as a way to bring people together for a night of fun and dancing. And here we are!

Here’s what to expect: You walk into the club and grab a pair of headphones with 3 different color-coded channels and get a spiked popsicle made by local vendor Cholita Paletas. You can spend the rest of the night vibing with people dancing to the same channel as you! With the flick of a switch, you can change stations and jam out to what sounds good to you. The event will be hosted by Hayoner and we have an amazing lineup of DJs – Stadium Status, Kevlove, and Robcast. It’s going to be great!

The party starts on July 1st at 9:30 PM and will go on until 2:30 AM at Transmission on 150 Bay Street. There is a limited supply of headphones, so act quickly and get your tickets in advance. You won’t want to miss this!

A fantastic Jazz quartet at Transmission in Jersey City this Friday July 1, featuring amazing vocalist Danielle Illario, one of the most wonderful singers in the country (sounds like Amy Winehouse, Ella Fitzgerald and about 17 other wonderful singers). Along with Doug Hinrichs on percussion, Eitan Levine on piano and keyboards, and Neville L’Green on bass. Jazzy, Funky, vibey, atmospheric, fun. Free in the front room at Transmission 8pm till 11, and a guaranteed classy cool time.
