Calling all creative youth in Jersey City!
On May 13th at Harborside in Jersey City, we will be holding our third year anniversary event, ChicpeaJC Turns 3. We are currently in the beginning stages of planning the event and the launch of CCAJC, a non-profit mentorship program for youth in Jersey City interested in digital media (details coming soon).
Every year, we have a different theme for events. The first year was live art, and the second year fashion. This year, the theme is the creative youth of JC. We would like to showcase young talent in our community under the age of 25 in all aspects of art and culture!
We are looking for artists – musicians (any genres of music and any role), visual artists, painters, photographers, videographers, filmmakers, dancers, models, actors, young creative entrepreneurs, fashion designers. Anything creative! This is great opportunity to showcase your work and talents to the JC community, to be part of this historic event, and to meet and connect with new people in the community. You will also be profiled on ChicpeaJC and all our social media outlets.
Auditions held at ChicpeaHQ (190 Christopher Columbus Dr. #2C).
The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 17th.
Requirements
- must live in JC or the surrounding area
- must be between the ages of 18 and 25
- must be available for rehearsals and meetings (will be scheduled based on the most convenient time for everyone involved)
- must be responsive via email
- must be professional
