I LOVE BLOCK PARTIES. Spring is here and it’s getting really nice out, bring out the family this Saturday from Noon-6pm for the Charles and Co. Block party! There will be fun for the whole family and I got the scoop as to what is in store.

I interviewed Eric and Paul Silverman a few months ago and got an exclusive tour of Charles and Co. before they opened. That post made it to my most top viewed articles on ChicpeaJC! Since then, most of the retail businesses mentioned have moved into their space and opened their doors. It’s awesome! Now is your chance to come check out all these amazing local shops and shop local!

Food

New restaurant “Frankie” will be opening at the Charles & Co. The concept of this new restaurant is going to be a bar and eatery with Australian influences, specializing in natural wine. I am so excited!

Park & Sixth will be there too, and I hope there will be wings involved! #crossingfingers

It’s not a block party without booze, and The SILVERMAN’s hooked it up! We got New Jersey Beer Co. (which is owned by Paul Silverman) and Park and Sixth will be serving up cocktails.

Music

DJ George Soul will be keeping our ears happy with all our favorite classics! He is awesome. Live music includes Carol Lester the Bubble Queen Bubble Show at noon, The Jersey Rollers at 2pm, and People in Disguise at 4pm.
