Liberty Humane Society is hosting the 14th annual Bark in the Park on October 14th! Bark in the Park is the biggest pet festival in Hudson County hosted by the only non-profit animal shelter in Hudson County, and features hundreds of participants gathering at Church Square Park in Hoboken to celebrate the work and animals of Liberty Humane Society and the communities served by the organization. All donations raised though Bark in the Park go directly towards providing medical care, spay/neuter, adoption and foster programs for local homeless animals.
The New Jersey Devils street team will be on-site with games, an inflatable slapshot, and free team giveaways! There’ll also be a free bounce-house, face painting, a balloon artist, and the Dogist will sign books and raffle dog portraits at Bark in the Park. And folks will not want to miss the annual pet costume contest!
This event is all about the animals, so come out to meet some of the amazing adoptable animals of LHS! There will be an adoption trailer with cats, as well as many dogs looking for new homes. All guests are invited to bring their dogs along for the fun! There’ll even be demonstrations by the Jersey City Police K9 Unit, and dog trainer Laura Waddell of K9 Problem Solvers.
Don’t miss out on the animal-friendly fun!
