With fall quickly approaching, our favorite activities are coming back! End the summer and welcome autumn with a trip to one of the beautiful sunflower fields in New Jersey.
Sussex County Sunflower Maze
Liberty Farm, 101 Rt 645, Sandyston
The Sussex County Sunflower Maze is open daily from 9AM to 7PM with sunflowers in bloom through mid-September. Admission is $10 (adults) and $6 (kids) on weekdays, $20 (adults) and $10 (kids) on weekends.
1 Alstede Farms Ln, Chester
Alstede Farms has their Blooming Giants Sunflower Trail available with their Pick Your Own admission. The trail is expected to be open daily through October from 9AM to 6PM. They also have a summer Sunset and Sunflowers event on Fridays from 5PM to dusk. PYO admission starts at $15, and the sunset event admission is $12.99.
2 Branchville Lawson Rd, Newton
Brodhecker Farm’s sunflower field is currently in full bloom and it’s expected to be open at least through early September. You can stop by on weekdays from 8AM to 6PM, Saturdays from 8AM to 6PM, and Sundays from 10AM to 5PM.
660 Oak Grove Rd, Swedesboro
Dalton Farms offers U-Pick Sunflowers through September for $2 per stem (or 10 for $10). They’re open daily from 11AM to 5PM. Admission for the field is $10 on weekdays and $12 on weekends for guests ages 3+.
Holland Ridge Farms
86 Rues Rd, Cream Ridge
Starting September 24th, Holland Ridge Farms will open their field with U-Pick Sunflowers starting at $1 per stem. Tickets will be made available in early September for $12.80 per person (ages 3+).
120 Bassett Rd, Mannington
Ward’s Farm is offering Pick Your Own sunflowers from mid-September through October for $1 per stem. Tickets are free but required for entry into the fields.
