ICYMI – Tyler, dear friend and great designer behind the stunning dress I wore to my anniversary event – was on Project Runway! As we recently found out in the last episode of Project Runway, he was eliminated. But not before making a viral-worthy, lighthearted comment toward model Karlie Kloss.

While in the bottom three and having his design critiqued, he made the jaw-dropping comment that sent Twitter into a frenzy. Even Karlie was speechless for a second!
For context, Karlie Kloss is married to Joshua Kushner, brother of Jared Kusher (senior advisor to Trump).
While unexpected, Tyler’s comment was super witty and, according to Jake, a cute glimpse of Tyler’s charming sass –

He was eliminated from the show in the same episode. Who knows? Maybe the comment played a part in why he was sent home. In any case, we’re super proud of Tyler’s hard work, and it seems this comment will be one of the more memorable Project Runway moments of the season.
Neasloney explained during an interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish that he joked about Kloss wearing his design to “dinner with the Kushners” after already having had “awesome banter” with judges Kloss, 27, Brandon Maxwell, Elaine Welteroth and Nina Garcia.
“I felt like we had built a really cool rapport. I was laughing, they were laughing, we were going tit-for-tat. There was shade, there were jokes, and it was really fun,” Neasloney said.
“So, I came into the episode 4 runway after being in the bottom twice before that in a row, I came in there being like I’m friendly with the judges now. We’ve spoken, we’ve kikied, we’ve laughed. I can be my normal self,” he told The Daily Dish.
“I’m not a nasty person. I thought we were on a friendly enough playing field. So Karlie, at the end of the day, she’s human, so I don’t want her to just hate me or feel awful about what I said,” Neasloney said
