AIM Media is looking for Social Media Account Managers to join our growing team! The Social Media Account Manager will be responsible for a number of client accounts and will be the face of AIM Media to the client, while ensuring proper content is produced and posted across all channels.
We are looking for individuals who have a strong interest in social media (especially TikTok and Instagram) and are always on the lookout for up-and coming apps. Some work can be done remotely, but candidates must be available for local (NYC metro area) travel as needed.
Responsibilities
- Develop content calendar and social media strategies to achieve the client’s business objectives
- Manage client content shoots (create shot lists, schedule photographer/videographer for shoots, communicate with brand/business owners, act as on-site production manager)
- Monitor social media trends and new platforms for new and engaging content for all clients
- Act as community manager for all client accounts on social media, responding to inquiries and comments in a timely manner and within the client’s brand voice
- Create graphics for posts, especially Instagram Stories
- Organize content folders on Google Drive for brands and businesses
The ideal candidate
- 1+ year experience managing brand or business social media
- 1+ year experience in client-facing role
- Highly organized and can prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work on-site in Northern NJ as needed for client meetings and content shoots
- Proficiency with Google Suite
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Well-versed in Instagram and TikTok content/trends
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
Not required, but a plus:
- Graphic design skills and working knowledge of Canva
- Basic photography/videography skills
