Newark Moonlight Cinema

Expected to re-open on July 24, Newark Moonlight Cinema is a pop-up drive-in theater that typically shows three movies a week to celebrate Black actors and filmmakers. Tickets are $12 per adult and $8 for every child over 4, and food and drinks are available for purchase through FanFood.

As New Jersey’s longtime drive-in theater, Delsea Drive-In shows double-features movies on two screens weekly with dinner and snacks available. Tickets are $11 for guests over age 4 and can be purchased online.

Cranford Theater Drive-In

The Cranford Theater offers drive-in movies with this month’s picks being Independence Day, Jaws, and Space Jam: A New Legacy. Food items can be purchased up until 30 minutes after the start of the movie, and adult guests are allowed to sit outside of their vehicles in lawn chairs.
