I love all music… but I have a special place in my heart for Hip Hop. The culture, the arts, the clothing… I live it, I breath it and I dance to it.
I recently got an email from Chris, founder of Dead Poets Society a local Hip Hop Record label. Chris stumbled upon my blog and was sending positive vibes my way. I knew immediately I needed to do a post about the label and the artists he represents, since I love hip hop and I love Jersey City!
Chris, Who is Dead Poets Society? “Dead Poets Society was birthed to be a home for true urban culture starting with my passion for music but also extending to Fashion, art, food, etc.. We are the anti industry in the sense that our culture is not watered down for anyone’s taste. I was born and raised in a melting pot of culture and appreciate it’s essence. With that said I wanted to make a home for the misfits so to speak. #DeadPoe champions the surgeon as well as the prostitute, any and all are welcomed to the Dead Poets Society so long as they are true to themselves. We were incorporated on Feb 12, 2012 and the home office is at 127 Delaware ave Jersey City, NJ 07306 2fl”
