January is National Blood Donor Month! The main reason why you should donate blood: you can save a life.
If you are well and capable of donating blood, and are willing to go through the process, why not visit a local blood donation center/event? Below are a few blood drives in the area this month.
Be sure to have a meal beforehand, bring your donor card (if you have one) and other forms of identification, and bring a list of medications you are currently taking. You can schedule appointments online, and find other blood donation centers/events in the area at nybloodcenter.org.
